i've just seen a quote (while googling for 'the little mermaid' merchandise, no less) that stephenie meyer plans on writing another so-called saga about mermaids. but wait, they're not mermaids!

they're sirens.

what the fucksauce smeyer. if making vampires sparkle wasn't enough for you, now you have to delve into greek mythology and screw that up too? apparently, what's going to happen is that they'll be mermaids, but called sirens anyway. you can't do that!

MERMAIDS LIVE IN THE WATER.

SIRENS LIVE ON ISLANDS.

they're different! and the worst thing is that she'll get away with it, too. people will let her spoon-feed that crap to them and love it, and meanwhile i will be having seizures in the street.

sigh.

i'm getting a headache.

Did you register for Fanime yet? Because I did! I'm so excited! :excited:

We gotta get ready and leave school quickly so that we can head downtown and get to all the sales in the dealers room and whatnot... oh, some friends of mine at school are coming too (one even has her own table at the artist alley) so you'll get to meet some cool people. Also, Annette's coming this year too, but not Ariana since she moved, so it's just three of us (but including my school friends, too) at Fanime together.

Are you cosplaying? I'm not.. ):

Yeah, I'm surprised she even remembers us. I think I lost that Hinata drawing she drew for me too, which sucks, even though I don't like Naruto anymore.

It was a really good drawing though. :(
